What is Riot?

Riot Craft Studio is a mobile art studio based out of Jericho, VT.

What do we do? Riot specializes in organizing and facilitating crafting events and parties for folks of all ages and abilities, and managing messes from the minute to the miraculous.

What do we make? What DON’T we make! From preschool paper crafts and air-dry clay to needle felting, quilting, printmaking and whatever else you can come up with, we’ll take on just about anything. Got a challenge for us? Let us know!

Where are we located? As a mobile art studio, we don’t have a “home base” physical location- we pop up all over the place!
That said, we store all of our stuff at our craft barn in Jericho, VT… so maybe that’s the answer to the question.

Izzy Rielly:

craftmaster Extraordinaire

Martha Stewart meets Miss Frizzle meets the kazoo player in a punk band, aspirational Riot grrrl Izzy Rielly got her art start young and has never stopped making messes. Her work is characterized by an almost unsettling commitment to frivolousness, and an unwavering enthusiasm for creativity in all of its forms.

Some of her traits and accomplishments, in order of importance & difficulty:

  • Won her middle school co-presidency in 8th grade.

  • Actively listens while chatting.

  • Graduated with a BFA from the University of Utah while parenting two young kids.

  • Gives pretty good high-fives when she’s focused.

When she’s not busy shamelessly tooting her own horn online, she can be found at home with her husband and two kids, knitting while watching Ken Burns on PBS, making small decorative adjustments to her 5-star island on Animal Crossing, and coming up with more harebrained craft ideas for Riot Craft Studio.
